Tony retired in April 2021 as the Deputy Chief Constable of Kent Police, NPCC Lead for Courts, and as the SRO for Digital First and Video-Enabled Justice Programmes he worked with partners to deliver technology-enabled change in the Criminal Justice System (CJS). In May 2021, he was appointed as the PDS CJ Transformation SRO and led national work responding to the End-to-End Rape Review, Digital Case File Project, Video Enabled Policing Programme, Digital Forensics Programme and Digital Fingerprint Project. In November 2023 he was appointed as the Chief of Staff working to the Chair of the Digital Data and Technology Coordinating Committee of the NPCC.
