Mark Bailey
Mark has worked in the NHS Ambulance Service for 36 years, initially joining as a Control Room Assistant, he moved into a clinical career firstly as a Paramedic and Clinical Team Leader and then Operational Management. He returned to his roots taking on leadership roles within Surrey and then Kent Control Rooms, and as Head of 999 Contact Centres.
Mark joined the Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP) User Assurance & Experience Team in February 2020 as the Control Room lead. He has been heavily involved in the implementation ARP’s Control Room Solution, as one of the user subject matter experts, and has been part of the migration team at all of the Trust go-lives so far. Mark also represents ARP as one of the User/SME for the control rooms workstream for ESMCP, and provided user representation within the project to develop the initial phase of integration between LifeX and ESN.
