Kevin Gardner

Deputy Director Kevin Gardner began his public safety career in 2003 as a sworn officer for the Cobb County Police Department. He worked in various county public safety roles before moving to Cobb County Department of Emergency Communications in 2016.  In addition to obtaining his Emergency Number Professional certification, he holds a master’s degree in public safety administration from Columbus State University, and a certificate of local government management from The University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government. When not working on innovative solutions in public safety, he enjoys travel, photography, and camping.
