Kay has been delivering national police capabilities at the Home Office since 2010, delivering mission critical capabilities tied to national security, public safety and digital, data and technology. Kay is committed to working jointly with policing to deliver capabilities that work for frontline officers and to breaking down barriers between organisations and professional disciplines. She is Programme Director for the Police Efficiency and Collaboration Programme for England and Wales which is core to the Government’s Police Reform agenda. Originally from Birmingham she now lives in South East London with her two miniature dachshunds and extensive craft gin collection.
