Dave Chapman is a Senior Geospatial Consultant with over a decade of experience in the geospatial data field. He has spent the last few years at Ordnance Survey (OS), now leading its technical engagement and strategy to support for National Security and Resilience customers. 

Dave’s expertise lies in integrating geospatial data to enhance emergency response and decision-making processes. His passion for leveraging location-based data to support the emergency services has been a driving force in his career, ensuring that critical decisions are informed by accurate and timely geospatial information. His work covers all aspects from data collection to web development, providing comprehensive solutions for the public sector.

At the BAPCO conference, Dave will be discussing “Mapping harm, saving lives: A collaborative, data-led road safety strategy” alongside his customer Jack Stabler. Together, they will share insights and lessons learnt from the project so far. Dave’s commitment to advancing the use of geospatial data in the public sector underscores his dedication to making a tangible difference in emergency services.
