Motorola Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah‑Jane Whiteside as Client Director for Northern Police Forces UK, strengthening its commitment to delivering trusted, mission‑critical technologies that support some of policing’s biggest challenges.

Sarah brings more than 20 years of public sector experience spearheading strategic marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement across policing, health and education. She joins Motorola Solutions from the College of Policing, where she led the organisation’s first national stakeholder partnership strategy—driving a 25% increase in partnership product uptake in the first year—and served as Business Lead for its enterprise‑wide CRM transformation, advancing data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

A respected and recognised leader in the policing communications and engagement community and former Vice Chair of the Association for Police Communicators, Sarah is recognised for her high‑stakes stakeholder diplomacy, her ability to navigate complex political landscapes and her drive to embed innovation and continuous improvement.

In her new role at Motorola Solutions, she will lead strategic partnerships with northern UK police forces, ensuring they remain at the centre of every solution - supporting their existing and emerging challenges with mission‑critical solutions.
