At Axess International Ltd we have been involved in developments of the manufacture of compatible batteries for Sepura SC series radio users. Responding to the market after problems with the existing battery supplier, we have developed a retaining latch.

The requirement came from users having trouble with the latch unknowingly being released while the radio is being docked in the stab vest.  The design has incorporated a retaining metal latch which retains the battery onto the radio and can only be removed when the retaining latch is lifted.  This ensures that the user does not find the battery has accidentally been released from the radio during use or docking. 

We have successfully delivered thousands of pieces across the emergency services network and continue to develop and improve all our products to meet the needs of the users.
