Small Business Group Pavilion


The Small Business Group exists to provide a representative voice for certain members of British APCO (subject to the membership criteria below).

The Group will enable Members to network, seek out business development opportunities, learn, influence markets and stakeholders and keep up-to-date with current, related developments.

The scope of operation will span public safety and civil contingencies communications and information systems.

Group activities include:

  • Regular meetings
  • Networking
  • Stakeholder and Industry engagement
  • Support for customer market sounding activities
  • Facilitating the exploration of potential consortia responses to business opportunities
  • Providing a means to engage relevant System Integrators
  • Site visits to customer and industry facilities

The ambition is that members work collaboratively, to develop an understanding of capabilities within the group, and provide assistance to identify specific opportunities, products and services.

Membership criteria

This Group shall admit members who are paying members of British APCO, and who conform to the following definition:

  • Micro Business = less than 10 employees & turnover under £2 million
  • Small Business = less than 50 employees & turnover under £10 million

  • Highlighted in the same vein as an event feature (highlighted and prompted throughout the marketing campaign)

  • Small Business Group will be highlighted and promoted in the show video overview

  • Editorial write up within the BAPCO journal preview issue
